Berkeley Homes Project
We provided internal and external side protection for windows and doors installed at Building 10 of the prestigious Royal Arsenal Riverside Housing Complex at Woolwich.
- Date: July-September 2021
- Client: Berkeley Homes
- Project Type: Temporary Window Protection
About this Project
Working on behalf of a leading window installer (MA Simmonds Ltd) we were tasked with supplying and installing liquid sprayable temporary protection for both the internal and external sides of the 2500 m² of composite windows and doors being installed at Building 10 of the prestigious Royal Arsenal Riverside Housing Complex at Woolwich.

Reduced additional cost and time delays
The solution was offered as an alternative to the more traditional correx film protection and frame protection tape as it is a more robust solution.
We have been working with both the main contractor and window installer to fully protect the external and internal facade from other traders and damage, reducing additional cost and time delays on the build program.
An important part of history, and the future…
Building 10, established in 1802, began as the Royal Carriage Factory and was amongst the most important workshop complexes at Woolwich. This is where the wooden, and later iron carriages were built. The building is due for completion in 2022, and is a great example of a building that typifies the Napoleonic period expansion of the Arsenal.
